Today’s Devotional Is THE PROMISE OF RESURRECTION

DEATH is the precursor to life. We cannot reach Easter unless our souls descend into the grave. Blessed are those who descend therein in hope. Their soul will not be left in the Land of Shadow, and God will not allow His holy ones to see corruption. They will live because God will raise them up. Our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the grave on the third day, and this is the foundation of hope for the world.

“Come, let’s return to the Lord!” Repentance is a way to find joy, forgiveness, and hope for your sins. True repentance is a humble and sincere return to God. He will meet us with healing and salvation as we draw near to Him. His coming is like the dawn or the spring-rains. The soul’s immediate reaction to His coming is light and joy, fertility, and beauty.

Are you in a dark place? Keep your spirits up. One of God’s angels will soon be able to remove the stone. Despite the fact that our Lord was executed, God raised Him from the dead on the third day. He now lives and reigns at God’s right hand. We can also live with Him by the same power. Not in the other world, but here. God will raise you, and you will live in His sight. The best is yet ahead!

“Let’s follow the Lord.” He is always there for us. We can always count on Him if there are any differences in our relationships with Him. As certain as we return to Him, He will greet us and welcome us with a warm welcome. His father saw the prodigal, and ran to him when he was far away. Do you have any doubts about our reception? There is no doubt about it! God, our Father, is always there for us. There is no turning, nor shadow, in Him. We can count on God as sure as we count the day-spring. Your soul should move toward Him from the depths of despair and doubt. He will appear on the third day, the Day of Resurrection.

PRAYER for Today

May we be able to live a life that is more like Christ’s, and may the grave bear a greater resemblance with our Risen Savior, so that everyone may see daily evidence of the Resurrection. AMEN.
