(16) Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

Will you allow your Savior to make your life what He will? All power is His, in heaven as well as on earth. You cannot resist His shaping touch or claim that He doesn’t understand your unique difficulties or temperament. He will appoint you and give you the wisdom and strength to fulfill your responsibilities.
The Holy Spirit instills in us His life and leads us to follow His lead. He is not interested in our desires but rather in His.
PRAYER for Today
Great Potter, fashion us! Wise Artificer, frame us! Guide us, Pierced Hands! We won’t be perverse children. Instead, we will submit to Thy wisdom and trust where it is not visible, and commit the keeping of our souls unto Thee in well doing, as unto a faithful creator. AMEN.
