Today’s Devotional Is On Believe and Receive!
It is not enough to ask and pray; you must believe that you have been granted. This is possible only if we believe that we have asked God for His Will (1Jn_5;14-15). Referring to His Word can help you determine this. It is filled with precious promises like many cheques and banknotes that are waiting to be cashed.
It is important to take the time to think about what you are asking, to find a promise that will allow us to make our request, and then to wait for the soul to answer. The request may not be granted at the right time, but God grants it and the desired gift is already in God’s possession, labeled with the name and address of the petitioner.
PRAYER for Today
We are grateful to Thee, O God for Thy daily gifts, but most importantly for Thy gift in Jesus, our Lord, where all good and perfect gifts are contained. AMEN.
