Philippians 4:5-6 Devotional On PRACTISING THE PRESENCE of GOD

Daily Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:5-6 KJV

Philippians 4:5-6 KJV
(5)  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
(6)  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Today’s Devotional Is PRACTISING THE PRESENCE of GOD

The root of anxiety is anger. It suggests that the word anxiety can be translated as anxiety. The life of faith is choked by worry. Worry does not make us stronger, but it makes us unfit to deal with our problems. Every weapon made against us will fail; every tongue raised against us will be punished; our bread and water shall be provided. God will make all things right. His goodness and mercy will never cease. Take your burden to the Lord and roll it over. Too many people take them back!

We turn on the switch to light the lamps or get up earlier in the darkening autumn evenings. There is a sudden burst in the darkness that has been waiting for us to call upon it. Let us smile and keep our eyes open. We can put our heavy, rain-soaked clothes in our vestibule until God gives us our destiny.

The Lord is near! These words should be repeated often, both in everyday life and when we anticipate His coming soon! It is a good thing to say when Euodia or Syntyche are causing you problems! It is a good way to calm down and remind yourself that you don’t have to be so stingy with your friends and family. It is okay to say it when you feel anxious and worried. It is a simple way to bring back the Presence of God. Practice the Presence God! Keep in fellowship with Him You can lift your heart to Him even when you are busy in work or trying to make ends meet. There is a big difference between faith and intellectual expression. It is important to transcend intellectual expression and enter into spiritual fellowship with God. We are not to inspire a temporary feeling of love for God. It will soon fade. Our business is to surrender our hearts completely to Him. The rapture of a mystic is not the goal, but the consciousness and awareness of the spirit. This is the unimpeded union of the infinite with the living world. To be at peace with God, to live in harmony with Him, to share His joyous, joyful, and strenuous existence, that is the Heavenly Paradise. Each of us may, through His grace, walk with Him in happy fellowship as Enoch did, and then we will be able make known our needs!

PRAYER for Today

O Father, we do not ask for your health and life. We offer all of our lives to Thee. Thou hast not counted them. We wouldn’t know anything more. We ask for the death of Thee, rather than living unfaithful. We would be Thine whether we lived or died. AMEN.
