Scripture about Conscience KJV

One of my favorite Bible verses about Conscience is Romans 2:15. Romans 2:15 says “Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;” This Scripture speaks to the idea that even those who have not been given a written copy of the law (the Jews) still have a sense of right and wrong within them that is drawn from God. This internal compass or “conscience” leads them to do what is right, even if they don’t always follow it. And what’s beautiful about this is that even those who don’t know Jesus can still be forgiven and have eternal life through Him.

The Bible speaks a lot about our conscience, especially in the New Testament. The Bible tells us that it is our conscience that helps us discern what is right and wrong according to God’s moral law. Our conscience is given to us by God, and it should serve as our guide for how we live our lives.

How God uses our conscience?

The three elements of conscience are knowledge, judgment, and action. Knowledge is the information that we use to understand the difference between right and wrong. Altogether this forms our conscience.
