Summertime is a great time to reflect on our blessings and think about how we can serve God and others. Here are some of my favorite Bible verses about summer:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10
This verse is a reminder that God is in control, even when it feels like the world is spinning out of control. In the midst of our busyness, it’s important to take a step back and remember that ultimately, God is in charge.
“For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” – Matthew 5:45
This verse reminds us that God’s love is for everyone, regardless of whether we deserve it or not. It’s a good reminder for us to extend grace to others, even when they haven’t earned it.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
This verse encourages us to persevere even when doing good things seems hard. It’s easy to get discouraged when our efforts don’t seem to be making a difference
