Daniel 6:10 Devotional On OUR PRAYER LIFE: LEARNING FROM DANIEL

Daily Scripture Reading: Daniel 6:10 KJV

Daniel 6:10 KJV
(10)  Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Today’s Devotional Is OUR PRAYER LIFE: LEARNING FROM DANIEL

In the midst of difficult times, Daniel knelt down and prayed, giving thanks to God just as he had always done. When we face trials and feel weak, prayer is the way out. As George Muller once said, in our weakness, Christ’s power can manifest. He never leaves or forsakes us. When we pray, we must turn our hearts towards our Lord, who intercedes for us in Heaven.

We should kneel before God in worship, just as Paul did. But we can also pray while we’re walking, sitting, or riding. Nehemiah prayed to God day and night, flashing prayers even while he answered the king’s question.

Let’s develop the habit of praying and giving thanks three times a day. Let our windows be open towards our blessed Lord, and let our voices be heard at even, morning, and noon. Pour out our hearts before Him and trust that help will come in His own time and way.

PRAYER For Today

Lord, help us to always bless you, to serve you as the hosts above, and to pray and praise you without ceasing. We glory in your perfect love. Amen.
