Today’s Devotional Is LIGHT IN DARKNESS

ALL are affected by Adam, the first man. Therefore, every person has a claim on Jesus Christ, the second Man. His Death, Resurrection, and Ascension impact us all. He is the Light that has shone in our hearts to bring the light of God’s glory in Jesus Christ. Christ was laid upon Mary’s breast and was cradled in her arms. We have been saved from darkness and can climb the ladder of His Cross over angels, principalities and powers to sit with Him on His Throne Of Glory.

“Unto us is born a Child!” Because in Him, the most amazing extremes meet, he is Wonderful. He is the newborn baby, but He’s the Ancient of Days who fills the space. He is a man who grows in knowledge but in Him are the riches of eternal wisdom. He is in eternal agony on the Cross, but He gives His life to uncounted millions. He is placed in a borrowed tomb but He lives forever and death has no power over him!

He is your Counsellor. Tell Him your problems. Ask Him for His advice, and He won’t mislead you. He is the Prince Of Peace and “of the increasing of His government” over the new areas of the inner lives, over the new departments of soul, and out of your existence. The increase deepening and heightening of His government over the years will not be stopped, as the soul of man cannot be redeemed.

What’s your response to the claim of Christ Christ? You are encouraged to humblely place the government of your life on the shoulders of Christ today. Then you will experience greater joy and peace. This is joy like none you have ever known. This peace has never before spoken its benison upon your heart (Isa_9,3).

PRAYER for Today

We are grateful to Thee, O God for the Son of Thy love; for all He has done and will do for us; and for all He has been and will continue to be for us. We know He is there for us, holding us tightly in His loving arms. He loves us so much that it cannot be broken. AMEN.
